Coworking Review
Members-only Work Club with sister sites across the CBD and rooms upstairs if you want to skip the commute entirely. From R1,090/month buys access to every Neighbourgood location citywide.
Neighbourgood's 84 Harrington Street venue anchors the District Six end of their Work Club network โ the other locations sit at 129 Bree, 93 Bree and Cape Quarter in De Waterkant, and a single membership unlocks all of them. The pitch is "ridiculously fast WiFi", bottomless free coffee, bookable phone booths, meeting rooms (extra cost) and a real, programmed community of remote workers and founders. Membership starts at R1,090 per month, which is the cheapest serious coworking access in the CBD. Coliving rooms are available at most Neighbourgood properties if you want the workspace and the bedroom under the same roof.
Honest trade-offs: Neighbourgood doesn't do drop-in day passes โ this is a monthly membership product. If you only need a desk for two days a week, look elsewhere. The "community" is real but heavily skewed towards under-35 nomads, which is either a feature or a downside depending on your stage of life.
