Venture Workspace Riverlands is the chain's flagship — and at 2,000m² across two levels with 70 offices, it is the biggest serious coworking footprint to open in Cape Town in the last three years. The location matters as much as the fitout: Riverlands sits where Observatory meets the M5, so you can be at the V&A in 15 minutes, in Newlands in 10, or in Woodstock in 5. The fitout is premium — skylights, Liesbeek River views, polished concrete and quiet zones. Pricing matches the Venture Workspace rate card: Day Hot Desk at R225 ex VAT, unlimited Hot Desk Member at R2,600/month ex VAT, dedicated desks from R3,500/month ex VAT. High-speed fibre and reliable backup power confirmed on site.
Honest trade-offs: this is an office-park workspace, not a café-vibe one. You drive in, work, and drive out — there are no walk-and-grab-coffee adventures because the surrounding precinct is still being built out. If you want serendipity, go to the CBD; if you want focus, this is one of the calmest spaces in the city.
